The house is still on the market. We've not had one person look at it. Last weekend we had an open house and no one showed up except the realtor. It's also officially on the rental market, now. Any of you bubbleheads looking for a place should look into it. The Husband's official report date is March 11, but he'll be heading north the last week in February. This makes me sad for a couple reasons: The biggest is that my family will be separated for an unknown amount of time. The second is because he is leaving before my birthday, so I have to spend it alone. No dinner and a movie for me. :( But regardless, he has to leave, and we have to stay behind.
While The Husband is in CT, I'll be concentrating a few different things. The first of which is saving money/paying off debt. I really, really, reeeeeally would like to have another baby(sooner rather than later), but that involves having some extra cash. Right now, there is none, and I'm making it my goal to rectify that by 2010. So that is my first priority. My second is practicing my sewing. I was gifted a sewing machine for Christmas, and I really haven't had much of a chance to use it. Having some alone time at night will give me plenty of opportunities. Another thing I want to do is(continue to) clear the clutter. Anything I haven't used in the past year is finding a new home. We just have so much 'stuff,' and it's not making me any happier having it around. When we DO get to move, I'd like it to be as simple a process as possible.
Charlie is growing and developing every single day. He seems to have had another growth spurt. I think it actually occured in his legs this time. They look longer to me! He's signing new words and saying them, too. Every morning when I get him out of his bed, the first thing he says and signs is, 'EAT!' The boy is an eating machine and snacks constantly. It certainly doesn't interfere with regular mealtimes, either. I'm so amazed by that. Where does it all go? He's also cutting his eye teeth right now. Poor guy. But he's doing good with it, so I'm pleased.
Anyway, that's the latest 'round here. Pretty interesting stuff, huh? ;)
