We left CT on Sunday to head into NYC for the second part of Charlie's birthday weekend. Grandma and Grandpa treated him(and me!) to all sorts of wonderful experiences and we are so grateful. Thank you both, again, for truly fabulous weekend!
We knew the ride would be on the long side so I had the iPod loaded with Charlie's favorite songs and videos.

After finding parking, our first walking stop was none other than Times Square!

Charlie was fascinated by all the things to look at.

Grandpa was so excited to show Charlie the great big city.

After walking around a bit we wandered over to Rockefeller Center to take the elevator up to Top of the Rock.

What a breathtaking view as Central Park sprawled beneath us!

Reminders of The Husband were everywhere. It was a bittersweet weekend without him around. :(

Charlie loved M&M's World!

He polished off two whole bags of M&M's that day!

Once our feet got tired we opted for a carriage ride through Central Park. It was such a gorgeous day that it seemed everyone was there!

Charlie loved the 'horsey,' especially when it licked his leg.

Listening to our driver narrate the ride.

And our last big stop of the day...

Posing with the toy soldier, Charlie was mesmerized by the stuffed dog he was holding.

Thank you Mom and Jack for a fantastic weekend. I have high hopes that Charlie will at least remember parts of it for the rest of his life. I know I will.

2 people who love me.:
We loved every minute with both of you....
