Last Wednesday, one of my fellow July mama's went in for a routine induction to have her second child. At her appointment the day before, everything was totally fine. The morning of the induction she was posting her excitement and bemoaning the fact that she couldn't have coffee! But when she got to the hospital, the unthinkable happened and the mood quickly changed. Something had happened between her appointment the day before and her induction. Her little girl's heartbeat was nowhere to be found.
What a grave reminder to us that no one can ever predict the outcome of anything. Our July '07 community will never be the same because of Isabelle Lynn. We have all been saddened at Kristen's loss and will never forget.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time tragedy has struck our community. During July of 2007 when each of us were welcoming our babes home, another of our own lost her life due to amniotic embolism. We've also had premature births where is was just too early for the babes to survive, many miscarriages, and so much heartbreak.
I take great pride in my 'tribe' and love them all as they were each my very own sisters. My life has been greatly enriched by their presence and I've even had the good fortune of meeting many of them in person. Who knew that an online community of mothers could touch one so deeply?
May you rest in peace, Isabelle Lynn. You will never be forgotten.

1 people who love me.:
We are sad for the loss of Isabelle also. I'm so happy you have this group of wonderful friends -- keep up the tremendous support each of you gives to one another. It is and will continue to be one of your life's most wonderful blessings. Love, Mom
